Though many were out of work themselves, the employ- ees made it possible for 25 families to enjoy a wonderful Christmas dinner, complete with turkey and all the trim- mings. Meals were distributed to families throughout the coun- ty, according to Scott Satter- lee, one of the organizers of the event. Satterlee also acknowledged Safeway, Sav-Mor, the coun- ty's social services depart- ment, Plumas Crisis Interven- tion Center and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for their generosity.
