Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin star as a couple who find themselves in an affair years after their divorce, when he is remarried and she is about to embark on a new relationship, in the romantic comedy "It's Complicated." More great films are com- ing to the Town Hall Theatre in Quincy to warm the late winter evenings with great drama, laughs and family fun. Theatre management notes that local patrons have broken all January atten- dance statistics and helped to fill in the summer and fall financial gaps that nearly drained the coffers dry. Enter the annual Oscars contest for a chance to win movie passes and posters when you come to see a film between now and the 82nd annual Academy Awards broadcast March 7. But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son's college gradua- tion, things start to get com- plicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable--an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness (Lake Bell), Jane is now, of all things, the other woman. Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam (Steve Martin), an ar- chitect hired to remodel Jane's kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he's become part of a love triangle. Craven's solitary search for answers about his daughter's death transforms into an odyssey of emotional dis- covery and redemption. Amy Adams and Matthew Goode star in "Leap Year," a romantic comedy that follows one woman's determined quest to get married to the perfect guy.., despite what fate has in store for her. When their four-year an- niversary passes without a marriage proposal, Anna (Adams) decides to take mat- ters into her own hands. In- vesting in an Irish tradition that allows women to propose to men Feb. 29, Anna decides to follow her boyfriend Jere- my (Adam Scott) to Dublin and get down on one knee herself. But airplanes, weather and fate leave Anna stranded on the other side of Ireland, and she must enlist the help of handsome and surly Declan (Goode) to get her across the country. As Anna and Declan bicker across the Emerald Isle, they discover that the road to love can take you to very unexpected places.
