Bulletin, Record, Progressive, Reporter Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 1B "This is going to be the new Johnsville," said rider Jon Pettit. "The Plumas Ski Club is very motivated to bring more outdoor events to Johnsville, year-round. A place like this is the perfect place to go get lost for a little while." Quite a few families seemed to enjoy getting "a little lost" on snowy slopes with kids and dogs bounding, slipping and sliding through it all. Snow enthusiasts braved the mix of rain and snow on Saturday, Feb. 18, to attend the first day of the Lost Sierra Winterfest at the Historic Johnsville Ski Bowl, presented by the Plumas Ski Club. One of the main events on Saturday was the demonstrations of "Fat Bikes" from Howling Dog Bike and Ski in Graeagle, with, from left, owner and bike " enthusiast Jon Pettit, rider and supporter Mark Weir, and rider Jason Moeschler striking a pose with the bikes.
