No individuals" names are reported. And those arrested should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. During the week of Tuesday, Feb. 24, to Monday, March 2, there were 182 incidents handled by 911 dispatchers. The reported incidents resulted in 15 arrests, 24 medical responses and three fire responses. Following is a summary of the week's activity: ARRESTS Beckwourth One arrested on a charge of DUI. Cromberg One was arrested on a charge of DUI. Greenville One arrested on a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. One arrested on a charge of violating probation. Meadow Valley One arrested on a charge of violating probation• Portola Two arrested on a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. One arrested on charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance and violating probation. One arrested on a charge of DUI. One arrested on a charge of vandalism. Quincy Three arrested on a charge of public intoxication. MISCELLANEOUS Tuesday, Feb. 24 Poor hitchhiking technique A caller on Commercial Street in Portola reported that an intoxicated man was hitchhiking. The caller said the man was flipping people off and being aggressive with a stick. A deputy responded. Passed out At 7:06 p.m., a caller on Crescent Street in Quincy said a woman appeared to be unconscious in a black sedan. The caller said the woman had been there since daylight• Plumas District Hospital and Quincy fire were paged. Deputies arrived and the woman was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. Probation violation A female in Greenville was cryingand sounded intoxicated when she called to report that a male subject was going to kill her. She asked for a deputy to respond as soon as possible. A deputy responded and the male said the female was very intoxicated and was causing an issue. The female was arrested on a charge of violating probation. Wednesday, Feb. 25 Abused A female in Meadow Valley cled to report her siblings and her mother were being abused by her mother's boyfriend. She said her autistic brother was slapped across the face and that the children were not being cared for. The caller advised that she contacted Child Protective Services. A deputy responded• Threats A woman on Aider Street in Quincy said a man she knew had been calling her and saying that she "is going to get what's coming to her." She said she wasn't at the residence but was worried about her property• Ranch Road in Portola said there has been suspicious activity on her property• She said she has been smelling cigarette smoke and has been finding cigarette butts in the area. She said that someone had been inside her house multiple times when she was away. She also reported vandalism to her vehicle as well as stolen tools• Phone seam A caller on Marilyn Drive in Portola reported receiving a possible seam call from a man with a strong accent. The man told the caller that the caller had been selected by the government to receive a check for $9,000. The caller was advised by the scammer to call another number and give his personal information. The Portola BIRTHS resident didn't make the call. Vandalism A caller on Second Street in Greenville reported possible vandalism to an unoccupied residence. The caller said front-door windows were broken and there was broken cement at the base of the door. A deputy responded and the male was arrested on a charge of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Thursday, Feb. 26 Wrists cut A caller in Portola reported that his girlfriend had cut her wrists: He said she was standing outside but was refusing medical help. A deputy responded• Hit by a car A woman on Reynolds Road in Chester reported that when she was dropping her daughter off at school a car backed into the woman and knocked her off her feet. She said she was having back pain. Self service A caller at a store in Quincy reported an elderly female walked out of the store with a basket full of groceries• The caller said the woman walked behind the store, put the groceries in bags, and then left. Smoking vandal A woman on Burnham Bryson Leroy Jennings Bryson Leroy Jennings was born to Daniel and Sonya Jennings, of Oak Harbor, Washington, on Jan. 21, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Bryson Leroy weighed 10 pounds, 4 ounces and was 21.75 inches in length. Maternal grandmother is Joan Younger of Modesto. Paternal grandparents are Russell and Joanne Jennings, of Quincy. Great-grandparents are Mary Topie, of Ceres, Skeet Stites, of Quincy, and Robert Jennings, of Grass Valley. Bryson Leroy is also welcomed by siblings Trevor, 12, Courtney, 7, and Teagan, 2. Cayden Lane Taylor Cayden Lane Taylor was born to Tamara Valadez and Cody Taylor, of Beckwourth, on Jan. 23, 2015, at 6:07 p.m. at Tahoe Forest Hospital in Truckee. Cayden Lane weighed 5 pounds and was 18.5 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Justine and Roy Voyles, of Beckwourth, and Geno Valadez, of Oregon. Paternal grandparents are Karen Taylor-Partlow, of Beckwourth, and Dan and Holly Taylor, of Portola. Jordain Mae Grace Hilpert Jordain Mac Grace Hi]pert was born to April Hoffman and Brian Hilpert, of Greenville, on Jan. 21, 2015, at 2:58 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Jordain Mae Grace weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are. Sunny Stucky and Bill Hoffman. DEATH NOTICE Donnie Estelle Weldon Donnie Estelle Weldon passed away at her home in Portola on Thursday, March 5, 2015. She was born April 4, 1947.
