The creation, crafted by Emily Webb of Emily's Garden, is actually made of butcher paper. "People ask me if it's wearable," Emily said, because at first glance it appears to be. For the record, it's not. Crafting a beautiful dress out of paper has become an annual tradition for Emily, and this year she paired it with a cake made by Traci Downey of Traci's Sweet Surprises. This new focus on all things wedding dovetails with Emily's new venture as a wedding designer. It's actually the culmination of many of her passions -- flowers, design and romance. Emily opened her Quincy store, Emily's Garden, in December 2009 to feature the bath and beauty products that she makes in her TaylorsviUe workshop and sold previously through such stores as Smith & Hawken and Nordstrom. Her store features her signature line of beauty products, vintage clothing, lingerie, jewelry, scarves and decorative objects for the home. "I've been wholesaling and retailing for four years and now I've gotten into paper art," Emily said. Customers will find paper flowers of all sizes and types, both for decoration and for sale. f "I'm a multitasker," Emily said. She doesn't like to be idle so she sits at a small table in the corner of her PROFILES IN BUSINESS EMILY'S GARDEN Emily's Garden Owner Emily Webb Address 467 Main St., Quincy Telephone 283-1033 Hours of operation Winter: Wednesday - Friday Noon - 5:30 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Summer: Tuesday - Friday Noon - 5:30 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Web presence emilysgardenquincy. In her current window, white paper flowers, greenery and tulle complement the wedding dress and cake and add to the romantic theme.
