Photo submitted COURSE EVENTS Big 6 Jared and Blake invite those who like a challenge to join in the spring "BIG 6" tournament at Mr. Huff Golf Course Monday, May 3. When established in the early 1960s, the course was only a 6-hole course. Twice a year, time is turned back and the course once again is six holes, making it 5,980 yards and a par 70. The roughs are longer, the greens are faster and the pin placements are more chal- lenging. Pick your partner and sign up early. Space is limited. The format is a two-man, best ball, maximum 18 course handicap. Registration is at 8:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. The entry fee is $45 per person. Call the club house for registration forms and information at 284-6204. Ladies Clinic Mt. Huff Golf Course will hold a ladies golf clinic Wednesday through Friday, May 12-14. Two sessions will be avail- able: 9-11 a.m. or 5-7 p.m. Golfers of all abilities are welcome to join. Golf pro Steve Ross can improve your game or teach you from the beginning. Space is lim ited for each session. The cost is $15 per person. Call 284-6204 for more information.
