Melman the giraffe, Alex the lion, Marly the zebra and Gloria the hippo continue their quest to return home in "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted." "Men in Black 3" plays five days: June 22 - 26, at 7 p.m. Friday - Tuesday and 4 p.m. Sunday. Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back ... in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. When K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. ' J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency and the future of humankind. Di- rected by Barry Sonnenfeld, with a screenplay by Elan Co- hen and based on the Malibu Comics series by Lowell Cun- ningham, the film is widely considered a very well-craft- ed summer "popcorn" flick. It maintains the balance of be- ing accessible to all and still clever enough for filmgoers that want a bit more. "Battleship" unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superi- or force. Alex Hopper, a naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brook- lyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hop- per's fianc6e; Alexander Skarsgfird as Hopper's older brother, Stone, commanding officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane. "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" plays three days: July 1 - 3, at 4 p.m. Sun- day and 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seem- ingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxuri- ous than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discover- ing that life and love can be- gin again when you let go of the past.
