Vegetables, below, reach for the sun at the Quincy Elementary School garden on Alder Street. This year's garden tour theme is "Incredible and Edible West Side Gardens." A community garden shares space with this experiential garden, which also hosts educational programs such as "Digging In," sponsored by Plumas Rural Services, Women's Mountain Passages and Sierra Farmstead.
