All-star district champs/ Trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Quin- cy juniors all-star team rallied with three runs in the final frame for a 6-5 victory against Modoc in game two last Friday, July 8. The day before, Quincy beat Modoc 11-4. Brooke Potter was the winning pitcher on Thursday and Brooke Panfili was the winning pitcher on Friday. "We're pretty fortunate to have two strong pitchers," said coach Frank Potter. With the win, the Quincy all-stars qualified for sectionals in Sacramento this Saturday.
