"" -':=" : " "71 tE SECTION C: FEATURING THE ACTION AROUND }WMAS COUNTY ................................................................................. : .... 1 With the reputation of being a fun and well-organized event, the Gold Digger Days men's softball tournament attracted 27 high-caliber teams to Greenville last weekend, July 17-18. Greenville's Way Station team, below, went 5-0 to win the tournament. Way Station owners Gould and Bev Fickardt sponsored the team, which named Brian Rolfe and Chris Keller as MVPs and Carl Rice and T. Hutler as all-tourney players. Fol- lowing Way Station, Kobra Boom of Paradise ca me in second, Mike's Fire Rentals of Willows took third and Dirtballers of Chico finished fourth.
