Feather River Bulletin Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 15A It takes an entire dedicated team with tons of energy to provide a luncl~ made fresh on the premises for the complimentary barbecue. Hidden behind the serving booth were the members and leaders of the Las Plumas 4-H Club hard at work making the magic happen, grilling, serving and boxing the delicious fare. Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative's annual member meeting on Saturday, Sept. 8, featured something for everyone, especially the kidsl The USFS booth with Smokey Bear hats, along with lots of other giveaways, caught the attention of Enzo Fregulia, left, of Graeagle and Ben Brubaker of Portola. Whoever said that adults don't like to play games and have a little fun? Everyone seemed to enjoy a few games of Bingo. Members of the Calpine Elks Club called the games. EverYone worked UP a good appetite for the much,anticipated BBQ lunch. Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative's annual members' meeting was held Sept. 8, at its Portola office. While important business was conducted, much of the day was devoted to fun, food and socializing.
