4C Wednesday, Sept, 22, 2010 Bulletin, Progressive, Record, Reporter II By Larry Douglas Contributor, American Valley Speedway Saturday night's racing Sept. 11, at the fair- grounds in Quincy was the last event on American Valley Speedway's 2010 schedule. Cars showed the wounds of a season of competitive racing. Some of the body damage was from other cars while some Was from contact with walls and barriers. The drivers still showed their winning spirits and sports- manship. Drivers such as Chase Nieman, Eriea Har- mon, and Thomas "Shake and Bake" Bren- nan made the 2010 season one for their per- sonal achievements and development. Others like Travis Petersen, B.J. Pearson, Chris Niernan, and Joe Wood were making adjustments as they competed with new cars in different classes. One of the highlights of the evening was track announcer Steve 'Ross, driv g his '34 Ford Legend, designed for asphalt tracks, on the speedway's dirt track. It has provided memo- ries of quality racing events and the sports- manship necessary for safety. The staff wants to thank all the competitors, crews, sponsors and volunteers for making the 2010 season a success in these difficult economic times. We know the the future Offers opportuni- ties for development at the speedway. Since the last race was Sept. 11, we wish to remember all those who lost their lives in 2001, and all those who have worked in the county's recovery. 1 PUBLIC NOTICE Abandons business name STATEMENT OF ABANDONMENT OF US E OF FICTITIOUS BUSINESS NAME The following persoq has abandoned the fol- lowing Fictitious Business Name: Will's Window Cleaning.
