He will be our Grand Marshall for the parade on Friday, 10/9, at 1:00pro starting at the courthouse and ending at QHS. All are invited to attend the assembly where Cody will talk about being BIG COUNTRY. He will then attend and be introduced along with his family at the QHS Homecoming game before the National Anthem. Please plan on attending the parade, assembly and game in support of one of our own. Our annual Scholastic Book Fair is here! Students previewed the fair last Friday, and it is open this week from 11:30-2:00 (during lunch and during dismissal time). Thank you for your support of the fair by purchasing books for your child- funds raised from this go back to fund books for the school library, classroom library and for Read to Your Child Night. A huge thank you to Mrs. Dupras for organizing this event! SpeH-A-Thon Our Parent's Club largest fundraiser of the year is going on now-- the Spell-A-Thon! This annual QES event raises money for field trips, assemblies, classroom supplies, Accelerated Reader Awards and many other things. Please encourage your child to participate -- every student that raises $20 or more will receive a prize, with bigger prizes for top money earners. Thank you in advance for your support! Quincy High Homecoming This week is homecoming week at QHS! There are many fun activities and sporting events -- as well as the annual parade at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
