Nov. i0 at the Sierra Valley Lodge in Calpine. All Marines (past and present) are invited to attend with their families and guests. Center collects coats Plumas Crisis Interven- tion and Resource Center, in conjunction with local banks, will launch its annu- al winter coat drive this week. Unlike past years, when the drive took place during the holidays, PCIRC decid- ed to start the drive before the onset of cold weather and anticipates a greater need than ever this year. Colorfully decorated col- lection boxes, donated by Quincy Movers, will be placed in local banks. Dona- tions of 8etJ.y used coats and warm clothing may be dropped off at Plumas Bank, Bank of America and US Bank, located in Safe- way. St. Johns hosts bingo St. John's Church on Lawrence Street is hosting a bingo night and dinner Friday, Oct.. 22, in the parish hall. Dinner consists of a meat- ball sandwich, salads, desserts, coffee and punch. Dinner prices are $8 for adults (including one bingo ticket) and $5 for children under 10. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. fol- lowed by bingo, with cash prizes. Tickets are available at the church rectory, 283- 0890, from church members and also' at the door.
