Feather River Bulletin The Community United Methodist Church will host its annual Fall Festival Dinner tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 4, 4 - 7 p.m. at the church, 282 Jackson St. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Tickets are available at the door or the church office. Dinner includes turkey with salads and dessert. Take-out is available. St. John's Parish Holiday Bazaar will be Saturday, Nov. 13, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., in St. John's Parish Hall at 162 Lawrence St. in Quincy. The bazaar features beauti- ful handmade craft items and a wide variety of baked goodies. Admission is free. The bazaar luncheon, served 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., offers a selection of homemade soups, salad, rolls and cookies for only $6. This year's drawing has an assortment of prizes, in- cluding a $175 grand prize. Tickets are 12 for $10 or $1 each. You don't have to be present to win. For more information, contact St. John's Church at 283-0890. Zi Gamma Zeta held its Oktoberfest Oct. 24. LaRue McCarthy created a scrumptious bratwurst with a delicious sauce, along with scalloped potatoes. Helen Shaver did a delicious stuffed cabbage roll. Also served was plenty of pasta salad with wheat rolls. All spouses attended and everyone had a good time. The event was at Betty, Steve and Manny Ziegler's.
