Feather River Bulletin Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 3A I Danielle Weaver, left, and Nadia Ekkelboom explore the fourth state of matter with the plasma ball at Quincy Elementary School. The Science Safari was made possible through funding from Quincy PCO. A mobile discovery science lnuseum visited Quincy Elementary School on Friday, Nov. 20. Kidz Science Safari brought a variety of exhibits including a bubble tower, giant microscope, gravity ball station, plasma ball and radiometer. Students rotated through the exhibits, all of which were hands-on and interactive. The bubble tower was especially popular with the students as a giant bubble was raised around them. All of the stations .focused on STEAM curriculum -- Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics -- and all were demonstrating a specific scientific or artistic principle. The Science Safari was made possible through funding from Quincy Parent Cooperative Organization. Alyssa Burney is encased in a giant bubble in the bubble tower at Quincy Elementary School during a visit by Kidz Science Safari on Friday, Nov. 20. The bubble machine was just one of several popular exhibits that focused on STEAM curriculum.
