2C Wednesday, Dec, 26, 2001 Bulletin, Progressive, Record, All-league picks Four Greenville football players and three Chester football players received All- League selections for the 2001 Feather River League. Greenville's Ryan Meacher earned the defensive co-MVP award, and Raymond Robin- son, Jesse Kingdon, Devin Wilcox-McCombs and Jarod Morris were named to the All- League team. Roman Grutter and Brandon Pack received honorable mentions. Chester's Matt Mauo moynier, Josh Pettigrew and Matt Settlemire were chosen to the All-League team. Stephen Williams and Jer Farinella earned honorable mentions. Frenchman Lake The road leading to the dam at Frenchman Lake is kept plowed, and fishing there has been productive for those willing to venture out. The standard, PowerBait and/or worms, is what most fishermen are using. There have been a couple of storms in the last couple of weeks, and there is now ap- proximately 2 feet of snow at the lake. The road around the lake is not very accessible at this time. If you do decide to drive past the dam, you will need a four-wheel-drive. The north end of the lake is iced over, but there is no word on how thick the ice is. There is still plenty of open water at the dam. Ittaila Godfrey gets a clear path River College.
