In some instances the charges may change after the dis- patch report. We do not report suspects' names in arrests for pub- lic intoxication or drunken driving unless accompanied by another serious charge, such as probation violation, a vehicle accident or an- other felony. The fact that some- one has been arrested and charged with a crime does not constitute guilt. The case may nev- er appear in court if the district attorney determines there is insuf- ficient evidence to prosecute. The fact that someone was involved in an automobile collision does not constitute liability or fult. Minors are named as legal-age drivers at 16, unless they are charged with a crime in conjunction with an inci- dent. Back: In Greenville, someone reported an 89-year-old man couldn't get up and was experi- encing severe back pain. The call was transferred to SLEMS, and Indian Valley Fire was paged and responding. Knee: In Portola, an ambu- lance was requested for a 14- year-old with a knee injury. The call was transferred to EPDH, and Portola Fire was paged and responding. Tuesday, Dec. 16 Fail: In Portola, a caller re- quested an ambulance for her husband who had fallen and couldn't get up. The call was transferred to PDH, and East- ern Plumas Fire was paged and responded. Fall: In Greenville, a caller requested an ambulance for a man who had fallen. The caller said he was at the in- tersection of First and Hud- son. The call was transferred to South Lassen EMS. Wednesday, Dec. 17 Fall: In Taylorsville, someone requested an ambulance for her husband who had fallen. The call was transferred to SLEMS, and Taylorsville Fire was paged. Overdose: In Portola, a 911 hang-up was received. A fe- male was contacted on call back. She advised she thought her husband might have overdosed on his med- ication. EPDH was notified and responding. EPF was paged and responding. Deputies were en route. An overdose was confirmed. A deputy reported that a 72- hour evaluation was under- way and the hospital would notify Mental Health when the patient was cleared. Disoriented: In Chester, a caller advised she was trying to get to her phone but couldn't figure out how to get there. The caller was con- fused. The call was trans- ferred to Susanville Intera- gency. A deputy responding to assist was cancelled by the fire department, which said that everything was fine. Fall: In Chester, a caller re- ported she was on the floor and couldn.'t get up on her own. The call was transferred to Susanville Interagency and a deputy was en route. The .deputy advised the victim had been transported to Seneca. Saturday, Dec. 20 Cardiac: In Portola, someone reported an 82-year-old heart attack victim. Portola Fire was paged and information was given to EPHC. Sick: In Greenville, a caller requested medical aid for an ill female. IVF was paged and the call was transferred to SLEMS. Hip: In Chester, a caller re- quested an ambulance for her friend with a hip injury. The call was transferred to SIFC. Sunday, Dec. 21 Cardiac: In Quincy, a caller requested an ambulance for an irregular heartbeat. The call was transferred to an am- bulance and fire was paged and responding. Bleeding: In Greenville, a caller requested an ambulance for himself as he was bleeding and couldn't stop. The call was transferred to SLEMS, and Greenville Fire was paged. Cardiac: In Keddie, a caller requested an ambulance for himself as he was having chest pains. The call was transferred to PDH, and Quincy Fire was paged. Abdominal: In Quincy, a caller requested an ambu- lance for herself, as she was having abdominal pain. The call was transferred to PDH, and Quincy Fire was paged and responded. Unknown Malady: In Portola, a caller requested an ambu- lance for his mother who was suffering from an unknown illness. The call was trans- ferred to EPDH. Portola Fire was paged and responded. Miscellaneous Monday, Dec. 15 eDisharmony: In Crescent Mills, a caller reported re- ceiving harassing phone calls from someone he met online. A deputy advised that it was a civil matter, not a crime. All parties agreed to keep the peace. Tax Write-off: In Greenville, a caller reported an embezzled vehicle. The caller said the crime occurred in Westwood. The caller also heard that the vehicle was possibly involved in a crash in Greenville. The caller was referred to the CHP and Lassen County. Tuesday, Dec. 16 Sad: In Quincy, someone re- ported that her dog was im- paled on a falJcet handle. Infor- mation was given to Animal Control, which was en route. A second call reported that the dog had freed himself and would be transferred to the vet. sNOw Damage: In Greenville, a caller reported someone had been spinning "brodies" on a quad in the park, doing lots of damage. A deputy re- ported there was no actual property "damage. It all ap- peared to be on snow pack. Mysterious: In Chester, some- one said they put the garbage out with a gift for the garbage men. The person reported that someone took the gift and the garbage. The deputy advised that the information was on file that someone took the garbage but left the garbage can. Wednesday, Dec. 17 When the Levee Breaks: In Portola, a caller reported her water pipe burst and the manager wasn't home. Porto- la Fire was paged and the caller advised that the apart- ment was flooding. Portola Fire reported that the water was shut off. Thursday, Dec. 18 Inconspicuous: In Portola, a caller reported that the night before a car igh$ have been casing the nei, ghbor's resi- dence, but drove off after she confronted the suspects. She said they later returned and one suspect was wearing a ski mask. She wanted extra patrol checks. Fighting Dir/y: In Westwood, Lassen County reported that two males were fighting and one had a shovel. A report al- so came out of Westwood. Let the Cat Out of the Bag: In Portola, a caller wanted the information on file that someone locked his cat under his apartment building. The cat was freed. Smoking is Dangerous: In Portola, several juveniles were smoking in the road- way, causing a hazard. The call was transferred to the city CSO. Break-in: On the Lake A1- manor Peninsula, a woman said someone tried to break into her house this morning. The caller requested a deputy to respond. Dispatch advised the caller that there would be an extended ETA. Dangerous Trick: In Blairs- den, a caller reported a 4X4 pickup pulling juveniles on a snowboard. The caller said the driver was belligerent when she approached him. CHP re- quested that a deputy respond as well. A deputy reported that they were gone upon arrival.
